For the time being, I think it is in the best interest of the Patriots to simplify their offense. At the very least they need to make the job of the offensive linemen as straightforward as possible.
On my list of blog topics for this weekend was the thought of the Celtics trading Rondo this season with the hopes of resigning him next summer. You know, kind of like what we are hoping to see happen with Jon Lester and the Red Sox. Of course with the latest news of Rondo breaking his hand by slipping in the shower, that thought process suddenly become less ridiculous.
With the whole work thing getting in the way of my game watching and blogging, I finally have the time to give you some of my thoughts about Sunday's Patriots game against the Raiders. I will start off by saying my prediction was way off. Of course, maybe if Josh McDaniels took some of my advice parts would be much more accurate. Instead of just saying that the offensive line was bad or blaming the receivers for everything. I'm going to break down each offensive possession of the game and give my thoughts.

Do the Patriots lack offensive weapons? Those are the questions many people around New England are asking. While I don't have a definitive answer to that question, I do have a pretty cool collection of passing statistics I collected for you using www.sportingcharts.com. So, if you want to see something besides completion percentage and yards, keep reading.
